Amazing environment, always happy to help, if the don't have something they will try to help as much as they can, even ordering in for you and will keep to the side for you too, great community in store with all the people that visit and stay and play games
Great comic shop. Very friendly staff. Great selection of comics and willing to order in. Gives a student discount and overall reasonable prices. Have visited multiple times and it's great there each time. Does good offers multiple times a year. Would definitely recommend and plan to go again.

This is my local comic book store and I visit each and every week for the latest releases. This is the only shop of its kind in the Preston area, and I would highly recommend the shop to anyone interested in comic books.I have known Noel, the owner for a very long time now, and he is a friend, he does go the extra mile to help the customers out and anything can be ordered in. Customers can set up a pull list where their favourite titles can be reserved and picked up so they do not miss a single issue. Also the shop has weekly card games and board game nights, and sells these as well.I have been a long-standing regular customer for a long, long time now. I remember first setting foot in the shop in 1989! It was known as Thunderbooks II back then and later became Star Trader in the late 90s, before becoming That Comic Shop in 2006. I feel like I have shared quite some history with the shop over the years, and have many fond memories of this place.
Finally got myself round today. Noel very friendly and helpful. I've now placed my monthly subscription orders. No need to travel to Manchester to get my comic fix.
