Wow what a smashing place. Such a beautiful evening spent round the fire, peace and quiet super night sky. We stayed on a chilly October warmth from fire and a fantastic super warm lodge made our stay special. Spotless lodge, showers and kitchen. Safe space for our 7 year old boy, playing on a lovely green space with other children. We booked a pod next to us for our son, independent 7 year old in his own pod FANTASTIC he loved it (so did we). We shall return a really special place to be.
Great place to stay, even when we had lost the key to the pod, the staff were still lovely, even interrupting the poor man's dinner. He was great and helped us back into the pod with another spare key. It was a great night, the only let down was not having electricity in the pod but there was an open lodge to counter that where we spent the evening. I would highly recommend
Having a great two day stay. Curfew at 11am for me is a little early. 12:30am would be ideal. Lovely area to walk around. Couple of basic shops just down the road. Lovely lake and walks. Pods are a good size for two adults and two kids will just fit any older than teenagers you will need another pod. Free tea and coffee, plus storage for food and drink is really handy. You can also fish from the lake too!!
Lovely place. Basic pod but kept us warmer than a tent... And comfier to sleep in with the mattress provided. Great facilities... Everything you need and more is in the log cabin including free tea, coffee and hot choc ..kettle, toaster, microwave, cutlery and crockery. Nice showers. It was quiet when we were there so no queues for showers.
