Didn't like how they argued with me when I pointed out the car they offered me had very low tread on the tyres. I have 37 years as a qualified motor mechanic and MOT tester, he was a valeter. But they did upgrade me in the end after making a point of it
Shocking, should have been picked up by 4.00pm only came at 4.30pm. Had to then wait for another customer, who didn't turn up on time. We then set off and the other customer arrived at the garage, so without asking me, he just turned around to go and pick the other customer up. Even though the manager said to him "If it's okay with the customer you have already". I understand that Friday's are busy, but I felt like I was in the way. The car I was given was clean on inside, dirty on outside. The valeter offered to hose it down, but the guy told him that it was fine. He then went into salesman mode, trying to frighten me into paying more money for excess cover, saying it was 1000, when I'd already been told it was 300. I got the impression he didn't know that I was the driver and Arnold Clark were hiring it. I will be telling Arnold Clark about my experience and would advise that to find another supplier.
