Was cold but expected because of the time of year, fire pit helped a little with trying to keep warm. Would go again but in warmer weather. The log cabin/main building was always warm and the lake makes a lovely view

A nice quite site. The lady that runs it is very nice. One of my pet hates is having to put money in a shower . It's not the 50p but it not knowing when it going to run out and the meter is outside she shower room door.
I love this campsite I have been coming here for quite a few years now it's very well run it's quiet and peaceful there are lots of trees around the site there are also rabbits running around there's a separate field for dog walks it's well maintained there's no pub club or shop on the site which adds to it's tranquillity it's run by Linda and her husband Richard Linda always makes everyone welcome always makes time to call over to see you and to make sure your settled in the toilets and showers are always spotless it's a lovely site to chill and relax and meet new friends
Peaceful site. Away from the crowd. Wonderful place. Spent five nights. Generous pitches. Awning and car at the van. Def. be back.
