Complete waste of time. Went to view a property with them which was lovely told them I wanted to take the property with them and they emailed me the next morning to say that was fine and gave me details to pay the deposit and go ahead. 3 hours later someone left me a voicemail to confirm I wanted to go ahead which I had already told them I did. I returned the call and no one answered. After cancelling all my viewings I called back a few hours later to confirm before I paid and out of the blue was informed that the property had been given to someone else despite being offered to me literally a few hours before and no one had even bothered to call me or leave a voicemail or even an email. if I hadn't called again I would have paid the deposit and not even known. Shocking and unprofessional.
Appalling service from a buyer perspective. I emailed for viewing however, after two days of hearing nothing I telephoned to book. Viewing arranged for Saturday scruffy guy from agent turned up, wasn't interested knew nothing of property I felt rushed however, I made an offer by email, again not picked up then agent called after a chase email. She said, I would have to take proofs of ID in for HMRC money laundering rules before offer could be put to vendor. I said surely not as money laundering is proceeds of crime legislation and that would be a better for my solicitor and bank to prove as Reeds Rains are the mere agents. She argued saying it was policy. She went on, anyway we want to chat about funding, mortgages we can offer etc. I declined saying I had matters in place. She banged on it was policy. After arguing she agreed to put offer to vendor. Guess what, he sold it on 4th December two weeks before the viewing. What a total waste of time more so if I had listened to the horrid women insisting I prove myself before offer was put to vendor. If you have a property with Reeds Rains Preston I won't be viewing it.

Very helpful would recommend over other estates I have used. Online apps and online web statistics showing progress of sale and purchase step by step so no need to constantly chase are for updates. Very good wouldn't use another estate agents.
