ive been kicked out due missing three appointments explained why one of the appointments was near sainsburys not within walking distance either no buses run from longsands to get there either!!! got three boys with special needs dont get no sleep hence why i didnt attend wasnt done on purpose!!!! they do not listen to you either.... especially if your on own its very steriotyping. I find it hard to talk with the GPs there as they're in such a rush to get you out of their medical room. they seem to have no medical records of what treatment you had in the past which i find rather weird. my son place bless him was sent to get diagnosed with ASD when he got diagnosed 10 years ago he's now 18.
An excellent medical centre at the forefront of healthcare. We've been involved with them in many NHS pilots over the years which have now been adopted as a standard in Preston for other surgeries to follow .Highly recommended .
For the drs are always AMAZING and have never ever let me down. And for that are brilliant. However like some of the other posts SOME of the receptionists are rude, not empathetic and ask too many personal questions that aren't even relevant. I have many times had fall outs with invidual receptionists and I have no Idea how they still have the job. Take that as side and if you can by pass the snotty staff it's worth it as the Dr's are completely worth it. Failing that make a complaint to the practice manager, have spoken to her in the past and she too is very helpful. I've been with the surgery for 31 years!!! I think overall that says it all
My 1 star is really my review of some of the surgery's reception staff. All of the doctor's I've seen here have been lovely and very good. But, unfortunately some of the receptionists let the place down massively! Some are very nice but others have a terrible phone manner and seem to feel that they are qualified clinicians. Neither do they seem to grasp the concept of patient confidentiality. I feel they are less professional representatives of a medical company and more b****y school girls.My own issues with the receptionists aside... One time I witnessed a patient get confused as to where she was to go to see the Doctor - the screen had said one place and then another place. The woman went to reception to ask for help. The receptionist directed her to the correct room. Then the screen showed my name but it directed me to the room that this last patient had just gone in to, so I knew it was wrong. As I approached reception to express my confusion I heard them b****ing about the last patient's 'stupidity' and laughing about her. I told them that the screen was clearly giving the wrong information and that they shouldn't be laughing at her!
I can't fault the doctors here, but the reception staff are horrid
