Dispicable. Lytham rd surgery knows it will always have enough 'clients' so they will not go out of their way to help patients.They will do well once the NHS falls apart and the privatised healthcare model takes over.Lytham rd Surgery; just another dog in a dog eat dog world.
I have been frustrated with receptionist and sometimes by the time I see the Dr I've a terrible mood onset caused by receptionists I Just get fobbed off when I call waiting for repeat prescriptions
Went to pick up my mums prescriptions. She is unable to, as she has recently had a stroke, Had to wait while the one and only receptionist was on a phone call. Other staff were behind the counter but nobody came to see to the queuing patients. Clearly they arent the priority. I was given the prescription but it was only when I got to the pharmacy that I noticed they had only given me half the items that had been requested. I rang immediately only to be told there was another prescription in the tray so I had to trail all the way back to collect it. And of course, I had to wait again while the same staff member was on the phone again. No apologies. Thank god Im not registered there. Absolute disgrace.
The physio could not care less. Session didn't last 5 mins, just told me to go home and do some exercises.
I have recently joined the surgery and honestly can't say enough about the level of service I have received. The staff on reception although obviously very busy and put under immense pressure each day are friendly,informative and always willing to help. (Service with a smile)The waiting times have always seemed minimal whenever I have turned up for an appointment which is always helpful.I can honestly say the staff at this surgery from reception right through to the doctors act with the utmost professionalism and kindness and are eager to help with any issue.
