I have been a member of the Fulwood facility for 10 years now, I pay a lot more annually now than when it was owned and managed by Preston Council but it has improved a great deal under Better.
Been told this happened over a week ago and still in the way for kids and members to walk over. Get it moved.
Staff great and they working hard to improve centre which is much needed,but really disappointed there is no lunchtime swim 12 -1 as I cant go early or at 4pm. Hope it is reinstated soon. Dont know why it was taken off
They have put in lockers needing a non refundable 20p! I think that it is APPALLING that you have to pay every time you use a locker even though you already pay your membership fees! Even though the charge is nominal, it adds up if you are a regular user of the swimming pool/studios (there are separate lockers for the gym area). It has affected my motivation and made me want to vote with my feet. I would have minded less if the membership fees itself had gone up by a couple of pounds monthly. That would have been honest and upfront- this 20p business is income by stealth.
This place is improving all the time , the staff team make the diffference . Attentive , interested and polite . The refurbished centre is looking good . Well done
