Fantastic vets. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. My dog actually enjoys going!

Took my two parrots to get heir beak and nails trimmed. They made them bleed and twisted one of my parrots beaks! Cost just under 200. I had to take them to a different vets where they told me he would have his beak permanently misshapen. I thought you are meant to take your pets to get them better not 10 time worse! 100% wouldnt recommend.

Staff here are fantastic, always receive a warm welcome and very friendly and helpful.

Very friendly staff. Hence the 2 star rating rather than 1. Saw the vet who said my fog had a temp so needed two injections and a course of tablets, then back tomorrow for blood tests ( were racking up fast at this point I was thinking in my head) I pointed out I had insurance so I was fine with the cost (my mistake) as he them decided i need special food. Went out to pay (still relaxed as I have insurance) it was 120 to pay, so I pointed out I have insurance with an excess of 85 so do I just pay the 85 and the rest is claimed by the vets, knowing we are back tomorrow for more and again the day after for another check up. I was informed as I hadn't incurred a 500 bill I couldn't do a direct claim (where the vets claims direct from the insurance company) i have to pay it out then claim it back myself. I pointed out that after blood tests and another visit I will be at 500 to be informed it has to be 500 on a single visit. So basically my dog has to be on deaths door before they will do it. The low rating is because none of that was explained to prior to them sticking me with a bill post treatment. The vet also failed to point out what each of the treatments was costing till after he'd given it and even then only when I queried it when I got to the front desk. Be very aware that you will be paying for everything at this vets even with insurance (up to 30 days to get your money back). Also that you need to ask what's costing what and why your having it. I could of just given my dog rice and boiled chicken rather than the "special" food. My previous vets didn't have this minimum spend amount before they take the stress away of having a sick family member. I'll be looking for another vets now.

Very happy with the care shown to us when I recently had to have my old Jack Russell put to sleep. I did find it rather expensive at over 100 pounds because we took him home to bury him. Lovely, kind lady on reception is a credit to the place
