I've been a member of this gym for over 3 years and its always been a nice clean gym friendly and helpful staff and well maintained equipment.Since the start of this year how ever it's seemed to of had a turn for the worse. They have had new toilet roll dispensers which always seem to be blocked so you can't get the toilet roll out. I mentioned it to a member of staff once who then marked the sheet stating they did a toilet check 30 mins after I spoke to him but they were still blocked after my workout. The showers are really bad it's like the vents have stopped working and there is black mould all over the top parts of the tiles. I put a finger Mark in the mould and 4 days later the mark was still there. The cubicle door locks and hinges are full of grime. I really don't know what's happened here this year but it's not a place I would recommend to anybody at the moment. Oh and I do have pictures of these as proof if any management is interested.
I'm here almost every day of the week, I love it.. if only kids wouldn't come over & accupy the machines while they're on their phones that would be great!
Could be an awesome place to train & potentially one of the best gyms in Preston HOWEVER, in typical 'commercial gym' fashion, they've over-subscribed the place & evening visits will have you fighting over equipment, so don't even consider super-setting your work outs!
Great gym, price is cheap for what you get in this gym. The atmosphere in gym makes you wanna go forwards and train hard. All PT (Personal Trainers) can provide high quality support and classes, thus, you can always find things to do and improve. If you drive you get free parking up to 2h twice a day so can't go wrong with that. There is a lot of equipment so you will always find something that will allow you to train any muscle you have decided to train. If you are not sure if you want to join this gym then take a free day pass and see for yourself what's this gym offers. There also free steam room in changing rooms.
One of the best gyms I've been too. Most of the PT's offer high quality classes. Very good variety equipment. Loved every minute. Price was a steal
