Great Experience. Have bought a couple of bikes from the shop for both myself and son. I wanted really high spec bike which he would have gladly sold me but having talked through the benefits versus costs I went for a slightly less glamorous version. Shows me that it not all about the profit but the value and experience.... I'll be going back again. Great local bike shop.
Wanted to help a local business and rang up asking about putting brakes together on a kids bike that was bought elsewhere online. The guy on the phone said as it wasn't bought in store they don't normally offer box in bike building due to liability issues. If a bike sales and service shop doesn't have the confidence to assemble a bike bought elsewhere then it's not a shop I want to use. Took it to the guy I normally use to service my bike who's 10 miles away. No fuss, no issues and all sorted.
Absolutely brilliant; its my first road bike from having a mountain bike and Martin was so patient and helpful to kit me out with what I needed; he make things so easy because of his immense technical knowledge; he wants you to enjoy cycling for the rest of your life, not sell you a quick fix bike in a box! 110% trustworthy
Just purchased 2 kids bikes for my 4 and 8 year olds. Initialy we went for advise and understand size options. Then we returned with the kids whom were sized for bikes so instructions could be passed to father Christmas. I then returned later and finalised purchase and secured with a deposit. I have to say the service was excellent throughout and certainly personal with an understanding of budget and the needs of our kids. There was no pressure and although it's a small shop they have access to a large range. Thank you Martin I'm sure our kids will be grinning from ear to ear at Christmas.
Having owned my bike from Wallis Cycles for a few months now, I can say that I am more than happy with it. Having been mountain biking for a while, I decided I wanted a go at road cycling. I described to the staff, what I was looking for, & the type of riding I wanted to do. They were very helpful, & gave me options to choose from, to suit my pocket. The staff are passionate, & knowledgeable about cycling, they are just not trying to sell you a bike. I was measured, & the bike was setup there & then, to suit my build, & riding position. So if you want a bike, sold to you by bikers....make a visit to this place.
