Manager met us at the door, and noticed we were from Scotland , he was from Kircauldy and he told us about his journey. The room were very modern.and the bed mattresses were excellent , just the best I have experienced in a long time.The breakfast is individually cooked and just perfect . And again we were met and seated. This hotel is where I will stay again if I am in Preston. It's above the standard of similar hotels worldwide , and as you know..I travel a lot..

Clean tidy small car park we only used it to sleep.
Very shabby, mildew or mould on the shower room wall.. everything is worn out and dated. Room not cleaned properly. Evidence of God knows what at the side of the bedside cabinets. ..I hope it was a twigglet. Very noisy due to renovation work but no clear signage or notification when checking in or booking although staff where aware of the fact I work nights. In need of a massive update and deep clean. Other than that it's a fab place. A real chance to reflect on why you didn't want to spend that little bit extra on a hotel with basic hygiene and working facilities. Who needs to sleep after a 12 hour shift anyway. Thank god I didn't take the sheet off and look at the mattress! Anyway enjoy your stay.
The place is located in a calm surrounding. Not much crowded. The staff is friendly. It would be great if the breakfast include more varities. Good value for money. Cheap hotel compared to other places in town.
