Excellent bike fitting. I had slight issues with my hands, shoulders and left knee. After the bike fit the ride was much more comfortable even after 100kms. Paul was really helpful and took care and patience during the bike fit. Many thanks.

Three years since my made to measure and spec Hewitt Fiera SC hit the roads, light (for steel) comfortable beyond words and still looks like new. Would be just as happy to race it as I would ride all day on any terrain. Never needed the wheels trued yet, Royce on Open Pro, because they were built by Paul. Would not hesitate to recommend a frame built by Andy (the frame builder). My next project will, without any doubt, be another Hewitt frame hopefully in 2019. I travel over 200 miles to visit this shop, so by no means local.

Ok one can buy on line but an independent small retailer gives you personal attention, tailored advice and after sales support. I live in France but Paul and his team have been brilliant over the last few years. I can call Paul from France if needed and my road bikes (Trek and Colnago) are now only maintained by Paul and his team. They have a few weaknesses but this is more than made up by the quality of service and honest opinions on products. I will use one example, wheels. After a few years of buying high value factory wheels which then failed I have switched to Paul hand building a wheel set. He explored my cycling conditions (frequent strong winds !), cycling regime, my weight, and then designed and built a brilliant pair of wheels bespoke to my needs. And when they need maintenance, I have Paul and his team ! Over five years I reckon Paul's hand build/ service facility will save me a four figure sum.

Got a bike fit here after reading around reviews. Really glad I did as Paul was excellent. He is knowledgeable and meticulous and takes time making sure things are right. He gives honest advice without ever trying to upsell or pressure you. Small things, but being offered a brew and having him (unbidden) bring my bike out to the car were kind gestures. Thanks Paul for your expertise and patience. The bike feels so much more comfortable now.

Not a good experience. Complete lack of contact, bike not ready to test ride despite having been delivered to shop 2 weeks earlier. Chain came off on test ride then took another hour to get the bike ready to take away. Couldnt test ride it again as the pedals had been removed. When I did ride it the derailleur set up was way out. Wont be going back.
